HDR - (High Dynamic Range) How to take 10 to 12 Stops of light that your eyes can see and put this into a photograph when your camera can only record 5 to 6 stops of light in one image.

Jerry Hugg is an avid photographer from Des Plaines, Illinois.  He is a past president of the Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association and an active member of the Photographic Society or America.


Hugg’s photos have been nationally published and are included in various private collections on the North Shore. In 2001 Jerry was commissioned to produce a series of historical places in Maine Township which was funded by a grant from the State of Illinois


Jerry’s works have been displayed at the Chicago Cultural Center, the main Rotunda of the Thompson State of Illinois Building in Chicago, Brickton Gallery in Park Ridge, Bloomingdale Park District Museum, William Koheline Gallery at Oakton Community College, Johnson Galleries in Santa Fe, NM, The Clearing and the Hardy Gallery in Door County, WI, the Des Plaines History Center in Des Plaines, Illinois and the Graue Mill in Oakbrook, IL.
